Everyone should be encouraged to register SNMP products and everything else related to TCP/IP products there. In running NYSERNet and now CAPNet we send the vendors guide to every new Internet site the joins the networks as a reference document for determining their options. In Consumer Union nomenclature, I would denote The Guide as "Best Buy". Marty ----------------------- >Hummmm. You are correct. There is an entry in The Guide for SNMP, the NYSERNet >product (section 2.23). But we should encourage all vendors to include SNMP >info in The Guide. I believe The Guide is about due for a revision - the >current Guide is dated February, 1989.
