And it would be a shame to throw all those programs out the window just because they didn't write them according to the 'rules'. How about a patch to the boot routines, that if there is a kickstart disk in the drive on boot up, then disable the ROMs and load the kickstart into RAM and somehow map that RAM to be in the ROM address space?
