Hard Disk Lockup! Message-ID: <9001070723.AA07556@astro.psu.edu> Date: 7 Jan 90 07:23:59 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Lines: 14 Hello! I have an A500 with 1 meg, CLtd controller on a 65meg Seagate hard disk. I was doing some swapping between partitions on the hard disk when one partion became full. I answered "cancel" at the prompt and the system locked up. Now, whenever I try to mount the partition (dh5:) the system locks up. It still functions perfectly on the rest of the partitions. Basically, I am clueless. I'd rather not have to reformat the entire drive, and also there are some minor files on the lost partition that I wish to recover So, any help is much appreciated. E-mail is fine, and if you need more info about what happened no problem. I am desperate! Thank you. ------------ Sandy Antunes "the Waupelani Kid" 'cause that's where I live... antunes@astro.psu.edu Penn State Astronomy Dept ------ "sorry, I thought you said you were a bicycle" ------
