In fact, I have, for the last year or so, derived my sole income (little as it was :-) from porting games to the Amiga, and ALL of my games run on ALL configurations. At least, every configuration I can try. There might be some weird hardware hack out there that I don't run on, but I don't really care - I run on all standard configurations, and that's good enough for me. It's easy enough to check, if you've got a full-line Amiga dealer handy. There, I'm fortunate -- there are two very good dealers within a short drive, and they're more than willing to let me check things out on their equipment. That, plus my own hardware, pretty much covers the field. The games I've ported, by the way (and in response to several email enquiries) are Quink, for the now-defunct CBS software, Crystal Quest (now available! Buy! Buy! :-), for Casady and Greene Inc., and Storm Across Europe, for SSI, plus two others which, for contractual reasons, I can't disclose. -- Mike Farren farren@well.sf.ca.usa
