It does seem to be a nice printer overall. However, when it's printing from the Amiga, we seem to intermittently encounter the following problem. When printing, we sometimes get the requester "Printer trouble: check printer and paper" appearing on the Workbench, even though there seems to be nothing wrong with the printer. This occurs when only about a quarter or a third of the current page has been printed. Then the NX-1000 printer halts. To get it to continue printing, I have to hit "resume" in the "Printer trouble" requester. This can occur several times in the course of printing a page. Has anyone encountered anything like this, or does anyone have something to suggest? (I should say we are using the "EpsonX" printer driver on the Amiga, since it seems like the closest match to the Star. In Preferences, we have selected "fanfold" and "letter" quality, and a print density of 4. Anything wrong here?) Thanx in advance!
