I am looking for a good text editor for my Amy. One which I can transfer
files to my University Computer and print out on the lovely lovely laser
printer. Unfortunately, us poor students in the UK have a really crap
grant from the government and I cant afford to buy my own :-((. (NB the
person from Strathclyde University.....incidentally if he should be
reading this  does he know a real knob called Jonathon Jardine who used
to be at my school??) Alas due to these 'orrible financial constraints I
am unable to spend a great deal of money since that is set aside for my
1 Meg RAM expansion.

Alas a challenge for all those out there in our lonely planet! A text
editor which allows me to preview files as they would be displayed on a
laser printer (ie Postscript or TeX pref not nroff or troff).
