You do it the same way that Workbench does it. When a disk is inserted, add that volume name to the list of available volumes. Actually, I think one of the early versions of DPaint or DVideo did something very similar to this, and I really liked it. On a side note, I really hate the TurboSilver file requestor. It puts up the names unsorted, then leaves them unsorted until you scroll, which rearranges all the names into order. If you're going to sort names, sort during insertion, not after the scan is complete! That's like rearranging all the windows every time you resize any one. -- Darren
