Re: HD problems Message-ID: <1780@agora.UUCP> Date: 9 Jan 90 07:17:50 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Advanced Solutions, Hillsboro, OR Lines: 15 I just got a Quantum 40meg HD with a Supra non-DMA hardcard controller. The problem I have is that I can get the system to acknowledge the presence of the HD after I run the software and follow the directions to the letter. Here's the point: when I warm-boot or cold-boot the system, the HD does NOT want to boot off of itself. It wants a dos disk in df0, and boots off of it instead! Like I said, I followed installation directions to the letter, and I STILL can't get it to boot right. Can somebody PLEASE help me? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | tiger (Kelly Baxter) | CompuServe: 74775,1545 | | tiger@agora.hf.intel.COM | | | ..!tektronix!tessi!agora!tiger | Portland, OR | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | "Practice safe computing.
