I've called IKON and National Instruments, and the only 16-bit parallel boards they offer follow the DEC DR-11W protocol, which I know nothing about, but sounds too much like a protocol with funky control signals and opcodes to me. So, I need a board for 16-bit I/O (actually only input; this will take data from a CCD camera) with only a strobe as control. Also, if anyone can give me a brief description of DR-11W, or has any documents explaining it, I'd love to hear from you.
