I have been considering upgrading mine but am wary of the trouble I could encounter. Could someone who has done this please tell me EXACTLY what to do (so I can blame you instead :^) ). Or maybe I could get Apple's OFFICIAL word how to make the exchange. You see, when AI releases the internal hard drive I want to get one. Which reminds me, could anyone who has bought anything from Applied Ingenuity give me info about the quality of their work? I know the are relatively new... Where is that Zmodem!!?? Where is "The Program of the Gods"?? Does anyone have Zmodem for an Apple?? Is it possible to modify a Thunderscan for a Scribe? How exactly does daisy chaining work? Sure, you plug all the drives together and each drive is accessed in turn until all the drives have been searched or the program is found. But what circuitry is used to access each drive separately? Does anyone know of a company wanting a summer intern who is majoring in Computer Electrical Engineering. I am "only" a sophomore who is very hard working and would extremely enjoy using his talents in the "real- world".
