The program ZMDM (now in version 1.6) by Bammi and coworkers at Case WRU supports Y and Zmodem. Although I have UniTerm and think that it is a great program, because of its size and complexity I use it only when I need the graphics support. The new version of ZMDM has the feature that you can install it as an application and run it by just clicking on a small file containing a phone directory. I have been using ZMDM for years and find it virtually bulletproof (I had to make a minor hack to get it to support pulse dialing, but that is my only problem). It is not a GEM application, so you can run it from a shell too. -- Bill Silvert, Habitat Ecology Division.
