Good point. I bought a 9.7 Mhz NEC Multispeed for just $640 US recently, which not only is a perfect emulator, it permits true multitasking (I run it at the same time as the ST). However, when my PCditto upgrade board arrives I plan to install it in an ST with a colour monitor, since colour is expensive even on the PC. For what PCditto costs ($200 for the upgrade) it is probably worth it, but I agree that there is probably not much value at today's prices in buying a PC emulator from scratch. -- Bill Silvert, Habitat Ecology Division.
