This is the laziest spoolier I have seen. My students have started the practice of listing the same file several times so that they might actually get a listing in the next 15 minutes (printer not in use!!). This is a wasteful practice and if someone could provide the UNIX equivalent of vitamin B12 for the spooler, I would be very grateful.
