Lines: 26 I'm looking for an example piece of code t3at will put the 386 into virtual 8086 mode and bring up dos. A book I have seems to have such a program, but I'm unable to read it cause I'm blind. It's taking me forever to get into this book and get all the info I need. The direction I'm working in is this. I'd like to put the 386 in virtual 386 mode and bring up dos but, before I do, I'd like to program the debug registers to suspend dos and go back into 386 mode and service some sort of interrupt routine if a given range of memory is accessed. Can I do this? My plan is to translate direct screen writes into com-port data. As always, any help would be greatly appreciated. ----------------------------------------------------------------- John Mattioli Most improved skier (american blind skiers association 1989) and humble to!
