Supposedly the program could cause directories to slowly disintegrate if a specific function of the utility were run. That is, over the course of a disk's use the files would begin to disappear without any rhyme or reason. What I'd like to know is, can anyone tell me how to determine if a particular version of the program is so affected. I have a user who used the utility to upgrade from DOS 3.1 to 3.3. The results were nearly immediate. I need to find out if it was a result of the utility or if there was another reason.
