Summary: How do I get to SIMTEL20's files? Message-ID: <10186@microsoft.UUCP> Date: 8 Jan 90 21:16:09 GMT References: <39747@ames.arc.nasa.gov> <39801@ames.arc.nasa.gov> Reply-To: bruceki@microsoft.UUCP (Bruce KING) Distribution: usa Organization: Microsoft Corp., Redmond WA Lines: 22 I run a public-access unix site in Seattle Washington, and I'd like to make it easy for people to get to SIMTEL20's archives. What I'm looking for is either a way to download files via email (ala uunet's netlib feature) or some other way to get to the files on that machine without an ftp account. (I don't have the $$$ to hook my machine up, and I don't have access to any ftp-capable machine) This is probably a request that comp.sys.ibm.pc gets at least once a week, but I've been reading for the last 2 months & must have missed the replies. What I'd like to do: get a few hundred megabytes of files off of SIMTEL20 and make them available to the random modem-owning public via dialup line & xmodem/ymodem/zmodem/kermit or whatever they want to use to get the files.
