I upgraded from QUATTRO a month or so ago. I've had no problems and have found the new version quite useful. The VROOM (sp?) does allow me to load larger spreadsheets than the old version. The only drawback for me is that the new QPRO only uses high-res CGA (b+w) graphics. This makes my old 3-color line graphs almost impossible to use. I have two work-arounds: 1) Use the old version of Quattro to do the plots by having QPRO generate a backwards-compatible file (e.g., .WKQ or .WKZ). This is fine if you don't use any of the "fancy" QPRO features (like linked spreadsheets). 2) Convert the line graphs to bar or area graphs if possible. While perhaps not the most appropriate style, the bar graphs have allowed me to keep using my old CGA machine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greg Flint Math G-169 (317) 494-1787 UUCP: purdue!klaatu.cc!afc Purdue Univ.
