Granoff) Distribution: usa Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation, Maynard MA Lines: 32 I have a Western Digital FileCard 30 in my AT&T 6300 - works very well. I went with the FC30 over the Plus HC20 and HC40 for a few reasons: 1. Price - search around for the best price - they are out there! If I remember correctly, the FC30 list price was less than the Plus HC 20 list price! Mail order prices were even better... 2. DOS limits the maximum size of a disk to (something like) 32Mb. A disk larger than 30Mb would have to be partitioned into 2 or more logical disks. 3. Size - 20 was too small, 40 would mean I would need to make 2 partitions (number 2 above), 60 was too expensive. FWIW, make sure that the hardcard (generic term) you get can be either drive C or drive D. Some of the lesser known manufacturers don't have this feature on their hardcards, and switching your current drive C to drive D would certainly be a pain, if its even possible to do. Good luck- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark H.
