Yes, very logical and obvious. BUT: to a first time Mac user, Jeanne's reply would have still been puzzling, since no where was it mentioned that the file creater string must be set up to something corresponding to a text editor. RR 9.4 comes up with the string default to MACA. I suppose that's not MS Word, since that is the only text editor application I usually have on line. I will refrain myself from commenting on this whole saga as being indicative of a good or poor GUI. Let's move on to more interesting stuff ...
