Check the user manual for detail. Does your IIci slow down under finder of Multifinder? Are you running too many things, on the back ground? Check the " About Finder " under the apple to see how much unused memory you have left during the problem. I would generally put batch downloads on the background, and on the fore-ground I will play a game (Tetris in color is my favourite) with continuous sound. When ever the incoming data needs to be written to the disk, there will be a slight pause in the sound. I am sorry, without any further info I am unable to help you. Haseen.
