True, v3.* was somewhat idiosyncratic, but I think Microsoft has done an excellent job with Word 4. Menus and key assignments are completely customizable, and all fonts show up automatically in the font menu. Moreover, it doesn't require umpteen-billion megabytes of memory, like some other word processors I could name ;-). Good job, Microsoft! Rich
