Lisle, IL Lines: 20 I am chaining a series of LaCie external drivers together on my SCSI bus. I have the need to occasionally remove one and take it someplace so this is necessary. My problem is that I would like to leave some of my drives turned off while they are on the bus. The Lacie drives use the 25 pin (instead of 50) plugs for their SCSI interface. I have two questions: 1) on the back of a SE, my manual states that pin 25 of the SCSI port is the terminator power. Does the MAC provide this power? 2) Are there any 25 pin SCSI terminators available so that I can just disable the builtin terminators on my drives? Thanks for any info. -- Jeff Wiseman: ....uunet!tellab5!wiseman OR wiseman@TELLABS.COM
