Full-time Macintosh Programmer Wanted
 
Vari-Lite is the world leader in automated lighting systems
for rock concerts,theater, video and industrial trade shows.
Vari-Lite equipment has been used on shows such as 'The
Rolling Stones,' 'Pink Floyd' & 'The MTV Music Awards,'
recently.  Vari-Lite's main offices are located in Dallas
with additional offices in New York, Los Angeles, London,
Paris, Madrid, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Toronto.
 
Vari-Lite is looking for a programmer to join us in Dallas
to work on a project that will allow us to model and
pre-program our automated lighting system.  The project
involves 3D modelling, user-interface design and the
application of object-oriented databases.  The product is
intended for international use in Vari-Lite's foreign
offices.
 
The development is being done in Apple's object-oriented
framework, MacApp, and the language being used is Object
Pascal.  Vari-Lite Inc. is a Certified Apple Developer.
Experience programming the Mac at the toolbox level is a
prerequisite.  Experience with MacApp / Object Pascal /
Object-Oriented Programming is desirable.
