Hello from the past!

We have two Explorer II, which we don't used for three weeks (power off). When
we booted the machines 24h ago, both said it is 23 March 1959, 1:14am (local
time, no time-server effect) and they insist on that. (time:set-local-time ..)
changes time only to the next cold-boot. Is there somebody, who can tell me
what this means and how I can get rid of this effect? Thanks!!
