It is not that ZPC is large (it is very small), but real RAM must exist above 640K where the PC programs expect CGA video RAM to be. This is the only requirement. A 8MHz Z-100 with ZPC will be quite a bit faster than a PC. A couple of motherboard and video board jumpers will also prevent PC I/O port conflicts caused by some programs. Optional, but will get more programs to work without modifications. The ZPC Hardware circuit/Scottie board will allow almost all CGA programs to run. the Hughes 16-color board/ZPC mod will allow most EGA programs to run. Cheers, Gern -------
