I haven't found anything in the manuals on using remote lpd-based printers from AIX, and haven't gotten anywhere with adding stanzas to the qconfig file. Do I have to write a custom "remote lpd-based printer" qdaemon backend, or is there a way of doing this with a standard AIX system? Or should I bring up the 4.3 lpr and lpd under AIX?
