I have tried seeking into /dev/mem from the address obtained from the proc structure -> p_uptr. This always yields the same result, my *current* processes u block. Do I have to grovel through the segment table? Is there an easy way such as a system call (like sysi86(RDUBLK) on 386/ix)? There must be some way..... ps works!
