Does anyone have ANY info on talking to a WANGTEK type tape controller?

I am working on an early version of the Space Station operating system and
I would like some kind of tape support.  The OS is very BSD Unix-like and
I think I can get some driver help from the vendor.  I may be the only one 
interested in WANGTEK tape support, until I get it working, so I may be on
my own for this.

Any info would be appreciated.
