I understand that it takes a mirror image of the disk, but it seems that if it backs up the bad block list, it is somewhat useless, since a replaced disk would get the old disks bad block list. I am currently using cpio, since I like to restore selected files, but it would be nice to have a mirror image, for various other reasons. Thanks in advance, Kenneth Bernstein.
