(I'm not sure I'm willing to risk using RLL on my ST-4096) I'm aware of the caching controllers, but I figure these are the last ST-506 disks I will never buy, so I'm reluctant to spend more money which is not applicable to SCSI (or ESDI). Also can 2.3.1 support multiple swap devices? A new WD1006 will cost me roughly $100, so it's the cheapest solution I can find. The next step is to buy some larger disks, but this requires me to buy new disks, controller, and if I use SCSI a new OS! thanks in advance. p.s. will SCO 3.2 support two WD1006 and a SCSI board ? -- Tan Bronson (home) tan@microvation.com (or tan@bronson.uucp) Microvation Consultants (work) bronson@multiflow.com Madison, CT 06443
