Somehow, the libX11 shared library was really messed up. I ended up rebuilding it, and even should it *is* linked as a shared libaray, I had to rebuild twm in order to get the problem fixed. Really strange! Anyway, considering what happened, I'm going to have to rebuild the whole core distribution to make sure I don't find any other clients in such a weird state. Well, other than that weird problem, and needing the patch that Isaac J. Salzman posted to handle XFileSearchPathDefault since I also use /usr/local/X11R4/{bin.lib,include} to store everything in one directory, there weren't any real problems. Rakesh Patel.
