I am having a problem getting twm (Tom's Window Manager) to work on a
Sun 386i running SunOS 4.0.2 and X11 Release 3.  I get the program to compile
without any problems, but when I run it, it just hangs.  If I then log into
another terminal and kill the process I get the following error messages:

	twm: bad character `I', line 19
	twm: syntax error, line 19
	twm: bad character `o', line 19
	twm: bad character `n', line 19
	twm: bad character `M', line 19
	twm: bad character `a', line 19
	twm: bad character `n', line 19

You get the picture.  This behavior is exactly the same whether I dynamically
link the binary or statically link it.  The funny thing is, the exact same
code runs on the 4/280 SPARC (Running SunOS 4.0.3)!  I don't understand it,
and I would really appreciate any help you can give me!
