X11R4 font formats Message-ID: <9001062039.AA05942@foobar.Colorado.EDU> Date: 6 Jan 90 20:39:27 GMT Sender: daemon@athena.mit.edu (Mr Background) Reply-To: grunwald@foobar.colorado.edu Organization: The Internet Lines: 12 I'd like to be able to use the SHAPE features. However, a quick test using 'showsnf' on /usr/lib/X11/fonts/decwin/variable.snf.Z shows that the DECwindows font format is not groked by the MIT tool. Does the server understand the DECwindows font format, whatever it is? The reaosn I ask is that some DEC tools appear to depend on thier font files, and if they can't be read by the X11R4 server, I'm up the creek on using the cool & nifty dxpsview program.
