   Anyone have any luck getting shared libraries to work in the 
build for xview?  I've looked at the makefiles and it looks like 
this capability is not present.  It works really well for the core
distribution, and definitely worth the effort.  It would be nice to 
get this to work for the xview stuff as well.  Anyone have any
pointers?
