  To make this official:
  Yes, we are putting together such a list of commonly-asked questions and 
  their answers.  It will probably wind up being posted more often than
  once per month in order to anticipate much-asked questions about R4 (which
  already seem to have tripled volume).

you may want to start with (or include) the file
doc/tutorials/answers.txt from the R4 distribution.
