Message-ID: <7296@shlump.nac.dec.com> Date: 8 Jan 90 23:25:21 GMT Sender: newsdaemon@shlump.nac.dec.com Reply-To: boiko@aspen2.enet.dec.com () Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 23 I would like to conduct an informal survey to discover which X Interface Builders are currently being used out there. Examples might be for instance, VI Corp Dataviews or Sherrill-Lubinski's GMS. o How well do these products perform in an X run time environment? o What is the savings in time from these products? o Other then VI Corp's and SL's product - what other products are now available? o Do any of these products support some type of standard user interface or will they (ie..Motif..etc..)? o ...and anything else you might care to comment on about Interface Builders in an X environment. These questions are being asked from the position of a single software engineer, rather then from some type of corp marketing stratagy... Also, I'm not interested in what people have under development - only what is available today, and has been announced. Thanks -mike-
