After looking at the code, I discovered that XtNewString("refile") in toc.c returned an empty stringto argv[0] (in routine TocCommitChanges). If I understand the man page on XtNewString correctly, this is not correct. Has anyone else seen this error??? The os is ultrix 3.0. I used gcc 1.36 to compile with.
