Message-ID: <21088@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU> Date: 11 Jan 90 00:54:22 GMT Sender: news@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU Reply-To: hastings@hemlock.Berkeley.EDU (Mark Hastings) Organization: UCB CS Lines: 14 I've found a problem with xman running on a Ultrix 3.1 PMAX with the Xcfbpmax server, and I haven't seen any mention of it yet. When I look at a long manual page (such as the one for twm) and start scrolling up and down quickly by clicking in the scrollbar, I get glitches (read: black horizontal lines and bold-text overlayed on other text). It seems to depend on the density of the text on the page (twm.n seems to demonstrate the problem repeatedly). I just tried it on a color sun 3/60 (os 4.0.3) and it seems to occur there too. --Mark Hastings (415) 642-4611 hastings@ernie.berkeley.edu ..!ucbvax!ernie!hastings
