If so it might be worth posting to xpert that it will be possible/reasonable to attend the conference by flying in and never renting a car. It is indeed in Copley Square. You can certainly fly in, take the (free) shuttle bus to the Airport T station, pay 75 cents for a token, take the Blue line Inbound to the Government Center station, change to the Green line Westbound, and take any LRV ("trolley") to the Copley station. It's a fairly short walk from there to the hotel.
