Message-ID: <1990Jan12.174957.12064@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: 12 Jan 90 17:49:57 GMT Sender: news@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov (Usenet) Organization: Image Analysis Systems Grp, JPL Lines: 14 I'm probably risking massive flames here, but I'm basically using X just for XView and anything that isn't required for XView or useful together with XView (related lower-level routines, perhaps), I'd like to toss. Can someone tell me what I can safely remove? For example, it appears that I have two sets of fonts, one in the regular distribution and one with XView. Do I need them both? Do I need the Xaw, etc libraries? I don't want to cripple myself, but neither should I need copies of everything that has ever been written for X. Advice please! -- Alan # "But seriously, what could go wrong?" ..!cit-vax!elroy!alan alan@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov
