G++ 1.36.2, with patches to cplus-decl.c and sparc.md from Michael Tiemann When trying to build libg++, the last ChangeLog note dated Wed Nov 8 06:19:39 1989, I get g++ gets a fatal signal 6 when trying to compile stream.cc. The presence of optimization flags makes no difference. The same behavior did occur with a version of g++ built with the native loader and 4.0.1 libc.a. -- Stephen P.
