     My original message was simply an attempt to make those on this echo 
aware of how often programs which claim to be by and for the disabled actually 
systematically exclude disabled employees. 
 
     I did not suggest any course of action. In fact I did not name the 
foundation. I simply think that those who are looking for grants should be 
aware of this and use whatever influence they have to change it. 
 
     The grant publicity states: Up to $8.4 million will be awarded to 
community based organizations RUN BY AND FOR THE DISABLED.  This will pay the 
salaries for a lot of people but few will be disabled. 
 
     If anyone is waiting for me to apologize for criticizing this; Get 
comfortable it's going to be a long wait.
