Hi,

Okay brother and sister blinkies and interested friends, Vixen has
now officially begun to learn Braille!

I am now in the process of learning the letters A  I  S  and D.

My counselor-teacher started me on my first lesson yesterday!
Actually, I think I could learn the letters easily. It's just so
hard when the dots are so close together in a word! It feels all
run together so that it is hard to tell where one letter ends and
the other begins. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

My counselor seems to think that if I work at it that I am not
going to have any problems. She said I will never be a speed reader
or anything, but I will be able to read and do notes and write and
stuff like that there!

She left a great big giant lesson book for me. I think it's called
"Braille in brief!" (I wonder it it's a male?)

Lots happening to your Vixen this year! Thankfully, not all bad!
