I highly recommend that all persons with disabilities, and their
advocates, get their abled friends to go see the movie "My Left Foot",
a brief history of the life of Christy Brown.

Roger Ebert rated it the #3 movie of 1989, but he's wrong.
It should be #1.  Too bad it's only showing in out-of-the-way
artsy theaters.  It puts the glitz of "Rainman" to shame.
