Perhaps quote unquote Christian bands do feel "held to" their style because they voluntarily assign the term Christian to themselves (whoa--getting philosophical here . . .), whereas Christian musicians in the commercial world (as opposed to Christian labels) would be more likely to write from the heart. Or, for that matter, nonchristian musicians. (poor grammar, I know) When I said that bit about vulgarity what I meant was that for me it ruins the song--I do not get morally outraged or anything, I just find it irrelivant to the purposes for which I listen to the album, dig?
