He has influenced me heavily in his use of musicality in his playing... I have taken much of what he has done and applied it to my every-day drumming. But, he's not the only one I listen to.... Infact, I don't think I have any of the RUSH CD's yet.. Of course, i don't have the MONEY to go out and buy them all. One drummer everyone never hears about is Chad Wackerman. Last I heard, he was still drumming for Frank Zappa. Which brings up another question.. Has anyone heard anything about Zappa putting out something new lately? Last one I have (besides the "You can't do that on stage anymore") was the live recording: _Broadway The Hard Way_ .. is he going to be Synclaving around now ?
