That song absolutely kicks! I figured out the drum line because it sounds almost the same in parts as the drum line in Cinema Show by Genesis (off Seconds Out--1976, Selling England by the Pound--1973 (?), and In the Cage medley off Three Sides Live--19something) only you have to play sixteenth notes on the hi-hat instead of quarters. Anyone know what time signature either of those songs are in? Sounds like 7/8 but now that I think about it Strangiato sounds more like 4/4 (Highly syncopated). Maybe I stuck an extra beat in there somewhere . . . But that's not why I wrote in. I wanted to tell you about this bass player friend of mine who decided to learn the bass line one day and did.
