Many people wrote to me privately and thanked me for speaking up, and also stated the pain that blanket judgements such as these can cause. THe bottom line, or one of them, is to make absolutely certain before you marry someone that you know them, know who they *really* are. Also have a healthy attitude about the marriage itself. Be a complete and happy person within yourself and marry to *share* your life, not to derive a life from the union. The safest way to find the 'perfect' spouse is by accident.
