I don't know much about CICS at this point (negotiating for training now. Do you know of any good 'schools' in the Philadelphia PA area?), but from going through their demo code it seems pretty good. They also have a screen painter available, DL/1 emulation ($995 as well. The screen painter is substantially cheaper though, about $100-200, I think). I'm also trying to get it through a computer store. It will cost $1695 that way.
