I fully expect to be shot down in flames for this... but... does anyone know anything about files which are posted with the extension ".Z" ? Is there a way of unpacking them (are they, in fact, packed)/ is this even a vaguely useful thing to do under DOS ? I naively supposed that they might be .ZOO files but none of the MS-DOS utils I have believe that this is the case. Well, at least, this is true for : /pub/graphics/Voyager/whole.ps.Z which I binary BITFTP'd from VEGA.HUT.FI Any help would be appreciated. I haven't done much dabbling with **IX, and know next-to-nothing about VAX/VMS. Allan Hume
